A Prayer for the Nineteenth Day of Easter

19.JPG

Resurrection and the life,

Springtime rain is part of the natural cycle of your creation.  As it falls, the earth is nurtured and comes alive again with sprouts and buds.  Things green before our eyes as water absorbs into the soil that has been dormant through winter’s chill.  It is such a hopeful time as signs of new life abound. Let me notice these things so that I might celebrate the workings of your hands.  Water my heart so that a fresh perspective might spring up within. Cultivate in me a seedbed for active participation in your ongoing creation.

Through Christ, Amen.
