Resurrection and the life,

at the start of this day, I opened my eyes and saw a new day.  Thank you for this opportunity to live another day. Empower my living so that it might honor you and serve my neighbors.  At the close of this day, may I find the strength to trust you as I close my eyes and rest in your love.
