We are living in thirsty times. The pandemic has caused isolation from family and friends. Political divisions within our nation have separated us further, putting us at odds with loved ones. Many are experiencing depression and fatigue, trying to make it through another day. The challenging experiences that we are going through can cause spiritual dehydration.
Lent can be a wonderful time of refreshment and renewal. As we turn our hearts and minds towards God, there is Living Water to quench our parched spirits. To help with this, I have created a daily devotional entitled, Water Ways: A Baptismal Journey in Lent. Beginning on Wednesday, February 17, you will receive an email containing scripture, a reflection, prayer, and a few questions to ponder. I’ve designed it so that you can read it in less than five minutes.
In Christ’s Light,
Walt
